SAVE THE PEACE HOUSE !
For more than twenty years,
the Youngstown Peace
House has been the site of
countless meetings, music
events and get-togethers. It
has welcomed hundreds of
people from the Youngstown
area and across the country
to its extended family. We're
proud to have built such a
wonderful place and kept it
up and running in one of the
most challenged neighbor-
hoods of a city that has
struggled through numerous
changes in recent decades..
We've now initiated a
campaign to raise at
least $25,000 to save
the Peace House and
restore its mission.
The Peace House has been
the recipient of an enormous
collection of stylish clothing,
music, books (many first
editions), art, collectibles and
other great stuff, all donated
by generous people who have
come to our aid.
It will take us a year to
curate this collection and
post it for sale on eBay. We
also will be posting much of
this vast trove here on our
site.
